Karina Pino Gallardo
Karina ist Theaterkritikerin, Darstellerin/Schriftstellerin und Regisseurin. Ihr Hauptinteresse liegt darin, an sozialen Themen zu arbeiten, mit verschiedenen Gruppen von Menschen zu arbeiten, transdisziplinäre Schnittstellen herzustellen und die Kraft des Gedächtnisses, des Dokuments, des Archivs und der Ideen der „Darstellung“ durch Installationen, Performances und Theaterstücke zu erforschen.
Zusammen mit Alessandra Santiesteban gründeten sie 2020 das Trailer Collective, aus der Notwendigkeit heraus, interdisziplinäre und kollaborative Projekte zwischen Künstlern, Räumen und Themen (die direkt mit sozialen Fragen und Gemeinschaften zusammenhängen) zu schaffen. Jedes Projekt hat einen dokumentarisch-archivarischen Charakter. DER ANHÄNGER (Fahrzeug für alternative Versetzungen, Verbindungen und Freiheit) ist eine Geste für Bewegung, Erkundung und das Kennenlernen verschiedener Arbeitsmethoden.
Karina is theatre criticist, performer/writer and director. Her main interest is to work on social issues, with diverse groups of people, making transdisciplinary intersections and exploring the power of the memory, the document, the archive, the ideas of »representation« through installations, performances, and theatre plays.
Together with Alessandra Santiesteban, the two founded The Trailer Collective (2020), out of the need to create interdisciplinary and collaborative projects among artists, spaces and topics (directly related to social issues and communities). Each project has a documentary-archival nature. THE TRAILER (vehicle of alternative displacements, connections and freedom) is a gesture for movement, exploration and knowledge of different methodologies of work.
